Synopsis:
A strong, funny woman of action, the heroine of my childhood, my aunt Niuśka lives in a small village in eastern Poland. One day she confessed to me that she had never been happy in her life. Would it have been different if, like me, she had left the country in search of happiness in the West?

Biography:
Marzena Sowa completed her studies in modern literature. In 2004, the first volume of her comic strip, Marzi, was published. The Godmother is her second documentary film.
