According to the news headquarters of the 17th Cinema Verite Documentary Film Festival, the following are the eight documentaries selected for the "Special Screening" category of the international documentary film event:

- "Memoir" directed by Hamed Saadat
- "Daughters of the Wind" directed by Sepideh Sepahi
- "In the Embrace of Love" directed by Mina Qasemi Zavareh
- "Gold in Mist" directed by Mohsen Jafari Rad
- "The Son of Lish" directed by Mostafa Fard
- "Confidential - Doha" directed by Mohammad Hassan Yadegari
- "Fist in Large View" directed by Mohammad Saleh Hajat-ol-Eslami
