Director of The Exorcist in Cinema Verite

A documentary about William Friedkin, director of the famous movie The Exorcist is going to be screened at the 12th Iran International Documentary Film Festival, "Cinema Verite".
Friedkin Uncut, directed by Francesco Zippel, is a portrait of the man who directed The Exorcist, The French Connection, and many other great films. Friedkin Uncut is produced in Italy, 2018 and is featured in the Classics section of the Venice International Film Festival. In this 106-minute documentary, Friedkin takes his large audience to an interesting journey through themes and stories that have affected his life and work.
William Friedkin, born in 1935 in the United States, won two Oscars for The French Connection (1971) and was nominated for best director for The Exorcist (1973). He has also won the Golden Globe for these two famous films. Friedkin's latest film, Killer Joe, was screened at 2011 Venice International Film Festival. Sorcerer, Cruising, Deal of the Century, 12 Angry Men, To Live and Die in L.A., Bug... are some of other works of this renowned director.
